The Graduate School in partnership with the Office of Human Resources invites applicants for the 2020-2021 GradDegree+ Professional Development cohort.
The 2020-2021 GradDegree+ Professional Development cohort will receive immersive training and development in vital career competencies. If selected, you will have the opportunity to receive university-recognized professional development certificates in one or more career development tracks that you find central to your professional enhancement and career aspirations.
Courses in the skills-based tracks are offered through Human Resources Training and Development and encompass the following areas: Communication, Creative Problem Solving, Diversity, Leadership, and Professional Computing. In response to COVID-19, many of the workshops are held virtually via myUK Learning.
Participants can sign-up to complete a single track, or all five. Each track requires the completion of three individual workshop offerings. It is not required that you complete all the requirements for each career development track this academic year. Upon completion of a track, students will receive a professional development certification from the UK Graduate School indicating their proficiency in the chosen career skill.
GradDegree+ cohort participants will be contacted with instructions on how to enroll in courses once selections are made.
