All incoming master's and PhD students are invited to participate in our New Graduate Student Online Orientation.
Note: Your program or college might also have a separate orientation at a different date that they will contact you about! Check with your new program or college if you are not sure.
The online New Graduate Student Orientation will launch via Canvas on or after Dec. 22, and all new graduate students will be added to the course.
All new graduate students will be emailed with this information on or after December 22. This Canvas course can be completed on-demand.
The “course” is located in Canvas, the university’s learning management system. (Note that if you are a new Teaching Assistant, you should have received a separate invitation to join the New TA Orientation Canvas course.) Please look for the invitation after Dec. 22 and follow the instructions to join the course.
If you DO NOT receive an invitation from Canvas by December 23, you can self-enroll in the NGSO via this link. If you have any trouble accessing Canvas, please contact the Help Desk at 859-218-4357 or 218HELP@uky.edu. The course will remain available to you throughout the semester.
