Admissions Deadlines

July 26, 2024 Deadline domestic applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for the Fall 2024 semester.
September 15, 2024
Deadline for international applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for the 2025 Spring Semester.
December 13, 2024
Deadline for domestic applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for the 2025 Spring semester.
April 19, 2025
Deadline for domestic applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for the Summer 2025 Semester.

Registration Deadlines

August 26 - 30, 2024
Late registration begins for returning students and applicants cleared for late admission for the Fall 2024 semester. A late fee is assessed for students who register late.
October 14 - November 26, 2024
Spring 2025 registration opens for new students in the following categories: online certificate, non-degree, certificate non-degree, visiting, and online degree seeking.
November 4 - November 26, 2024
Priority registration for the Winter 2024 intersession and Spring 2025 semester.
December 2, 2024 - January 12, 2025 Registration continues for Winter 2024 for currently enrolled students. Winter 2024 intersession and Spring 2025 registration for newly admitted students opens.
December 9, 2024 - January 12, 2025 New post-baccalaureate student registration for the Spring 2025 semester.
January 13 - January 17, 2025
Late registration begins for returning students and applicants cleared for late admission for the Spring 2025 semester. A late fee is assessed for students who register late.
March 31 - April 22, 2025 Priority registration for the Summer 2024 term. Please make sure to meet with your advisor to remove your advisor hold before priority registration begins. Check the registration webpage for more information about steps you should take to ensure a smooth registration process.
May 19 - 20, 2025 Late registration begins for returning students and applicants cleared for late admission for the Summer 2025 term. A late fee is assessed for students who register late.

UK Graduate School welcomes local colleges, universities for inaugural 'Grad Day at UK'

“Is graduate school for me?” “What is it like being a graduate student at UK?” “What can I do with a master’s degree?” The University of Kentucky Graduate School set out to help answer these questions by hosting the inaugural “Grad School Day at UK” regional event. Undergraduate students from six area Kentucky colleges and universities, curious about attending UK to earn a graduate degree, were welcomed on campus by UK staff, faculty and students. MORE>
