Study Abroad

Answer:

The Education Abroad section of the Office of International Affairs provides services and information for UK students, parents, faculty and staff in relation to international academic opportunities.

We believe that every UK student should have the opportunity to incorporate an international academic experience into his or her curriculum at UK and we are dedicated to making that happen. With thousands of opportunities available, and programs ranging from several weeks to a year, there is a program to fit every personality and budget.

Education Abroad is possible for all UK students, regardless of major, although some majors will require earlier planning. Even if you are not considering an Education Abroad experience right away, it is best to begin exploring your options as soon as possible.

All UK students (undergraduate and graduate/professional) participating in an international program that offers academic credit must apply to and be approved by Education Abroad at UK prior to going abroad. We are also the administration home of all faculty/staff-led international travel programs and all international student exchange programs.
