Graduate School Diversity & Inclusion Office and the Dept. of English in the College of Arts and Sciences continue their joint ‘full court press’ in the area of recruiting URM prospective graduate students. The two units are set to host high achieving URM undergraduates from Morgan State University and Howard University during early spring of 2019 at UK. Also, during the spring semester (February), both units along with Sociology, Physics, Geography, Gender and Women Studies, and Anthropology will be at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN to meet with prospective undergrads who are interested in attending graduate school.
Later during the spring semester, the same offices will be undertaking a recruiting period at the big 3 HBCUs in Atlanta, GA (Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Clark Atlanta University).
