Inaugural Sister Circle Forum: The Power of Your Reach
Friday, February 17, 9:00am - 2:00pm 
Woodward Hall, Gatton Business & Economics Building

The forum is a half day conference for undergraduate, graduate, and professional women of color from UK and the Lexington community. Through interactive workshops, presentations, activities, and a dynamic keynote address, conference attendees will engage in critical conversations surrounding women of color in today’s world.

Faculty and Students of Color Mentoring Mixer
Tuesday, February 28, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
William T. Young Multipurpose Room (B-108C)

During the mixer faculty mentors and graduate students of color will engage in meaningful conversations around academic support, professional development, best practices, and racial climate in higher education. Students will network and begin to build professional relationships with faculty, alumni and other graduate students. Faculty mentors will provide support and encouragement and share their expertise, guidance, and words of wisdom.

OUTGrads is a collaborative event cosponsored by CGD and the UK Office of LGBTQ* Resources. Each semester OUTGrads provides students with an opportunity to participate in various educational experiences at the intersections of gender, sexual orientation, and race with the ultimate goal of creating a more inclusive environment. Students are provided time for networking with other graduate students to enhance the overall sense of community

Graduate Students of Color Professional Development Colloquium
Friday, March 21, 9:00am - 2:00pm

The colloquium is a half day conference for UK graduate and professional students. Through interactive workshops, panels, and presentations, students will engage in critical conversations aimed to strengthen their professional development and academic enhancement.
