On Tuesday, October 30th, the University of Kentucky Graduate School and College of Law hosted 26 undergraduate students from three Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in South Carolina – Claflin University, Allen University, and Voorhees College. The students gained valuable insight on the various graduate programs offered at UK, and received helpful tips regarding admissions and funding. We hope that our recruitment efforts will promote diversity on our campus and aid the University of Kentucky’s mission of providing equitable opportunities for the achievement and professional development of underrepresented students.
